My attempts at ingraining an appreciation for music is starting to pay off in Q's love for everything and anything that seems "rock & roll" to him: cool sunglasses, check. guitar, check. (pretend) tattoos, check. sex pistols-esk shirt, check. rockin' attitude, check!

Our Little Smart Ass
Today, while having lunch at the Walker during Arty Pants, Q made papa proud by showing that we are succeeding in raising a serious smart ass.
K8: singing along to the Stevie Wonder playing
Q: "Stop! Stop it!"
K8: "You're mean."
Q: "No, I'm Q." pointing an accusing finger at K8 "That's you."

The Lactation Station Via The Q Train
Q: walking around in a shirt and his undies is carrying around a small blue bear "Baby sleeping."
DK: "Is that your baby?"
Q: "Yeah. Baby waking up. Baby hungry."
DK: "Ok, then you better feed 'em" not thinking the implications of my suggestion
Q: pulling up his shirt and placing the bears face against his nipple "I feeding baby."
DK & K8: do their best to not pee their pants from laughing so hard.

Rock The Cradle Is Back!
Mark your calender now. Rock The Cradle, presented by The Current and Minneapolis Institute of Art, is slated for January 27th. We made it last year and had a blast. The best event for kids in the Twin Cities, hands down. Great art, cool music, bad dancing, screaming kids, can it get any better than that.

sniff HAPPY cough NEW cough YEAR ahhchoo
I knew I cursed us all to a sickly hell when I bragged to a friend that Q hasn't been sick for almost a year. Well now we're all coughing and hacking our way into the new year. Of course this little bug didn't slow Q down opening presents for his birthday but poor baby Ozzi is so stuffed up that he has to choose between feeding or breathing.
We'll probably miss out on ECFE this week too. Bummer. Social interaction has become pretty hard to come by now with the new baby, cold weather, and now our runny noses.
